Hampton Inn Norton, Va

The hotel was clean and very accommodating. We had to do a late check in and out and they were very helpful with that. We needed rooms either directly next to each other or conjoined and they were able to give us directly next to each other

the pool gave our children a slight rash reaction because of the amount of cleaner in the pool so that was a bit strong for their skin. they had to take benadryl. They said it was salt water but you could smell the chlorine when you entered the lobby so I believe it had a different filter. Breakfast was a little limited with the protein and potatoes both day s

That housekeeping doesn't come everyday. Also, if they don't clean everyday they should have to at least come in and give you fresh towels. I had to take my wet towels to the front desk and swap them for clean ones.

It was hard to like anything after I got charged 50 more dollars than the Booking.com reservation stated. I will have a hard time using Hampton, knowing I got overcharged and there isn't much I can do about it. I travel a lot. There are many good hotel chains that don't hide charges.

You could have given me the room for what it said I would be charged when I reserved it. After that to find out I had to buy breakfast. Very disappointing. I travel a lot. I will not be using Hampton after this.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms had a perfect number of towels and wash cloths.

Pillows were not that comfortable; Thermostat was in correct on temperature. TV volume was weak.

Very clean and convenient. Definitely worth the money paid. Beds were comfy as well and staff were friendly. Breakfast was great.
