"Lots of perks"

I appreciate the free passes to visit the Spiece Fitness Center a block or two away. Believe it or not, one of the biggest reasons I stay at Candlewood Suites in Fort Wayne. I also like the kitchenette amenities. Full fridge, stove, microwave, full sink. Home away from home.

I stayed here a few years ago and it was a great few weeks here, but there must be a difference between floors. Last time I was on 3, this trip i was on 1. The room wasn’t as clean as it could be, and the only reason I feel this way is because there was mold (orange and black slime) growth on the bath fixtures. I knew there was a mold issue right away because I am mold sick, and trying my best to get rid of it. My eyes and sinuses were in trouble within a minute or so after being in the room. Others probably won’t have a problem with it, but I have a genetic mutation that makes me sensitive and very sick when mold is present. The staff is still very kind, I felt a little more elbow grease, if not a restoration is needed in at least the room I stayed in, if not the building.

Clean fresh room, friendly staff, great amenities (free laundry). This room was super comfortable and pleasant. I spent half of my business trip here and half at the extended stay north, the Two experiences were night and day!!
