Candlewood Suites Sierra Vista by IHG

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The kitchenette was perfect touch to the room. They provided everything one needs to create a home environment. I give the beds a 3 in comfort. The staff were friendly. The town is actually in the middle of no where. We purposely stayed near the base for my daughters AIT graduation. I would also recommend The Lodge for the best freaking hamburgers you will every have. (Dont Order the salsa and chips) If I would ever go back to Sierra Vista. I would make sure to stay at Candlewood Suites. Loved it!

Candlewood was a nice, cleanly hotel. Very comfortable and service was excellent.

Very clean and accommodating. Wierd smell though the next morning after possible cleaning. Overall good experience.

Nice place but I'm not a big fan of pets in a hotel. Dogs belong in the backyard not in a hotel room.

I had to lower the rating on this because the room had the "hotel A/C unit curtain problem" It's 2014 - find a way that the A/C can work without us having to put coffee pots and suit cases in front of them or they will blow all over the room. This isn't supposed to be a 1-star hotel with parking lot walk-in. The rest of the hotel experience was fairly good. Clean, quiet room (except A/C). One additional issue was that the clerk was insensitive to the point of downright rude that we were a male couple asking if I knew the reservation was for a King room with one bed - but in such a way that it was very rude. We travel a lot and we've NEVER had such a thing been being handled so tactlessly.

Weekend business trip was a complete pleasure thanks to the magnificent lodging at Candlewood Suites. Was courteously greeted by the clerk (Jay) and was checked in in less than three minutes. The room was beyond expectations as it had a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher two double beds, all of which were of excellent quality. Comfortable mattress offered a good nights sleep. Staying at this hotel has to be one of the best bargains in the industry. In the morning you can walk (about 200 feet ) to the IHOP restaurant for the morning munchies and get a 10% discount. Highly recommend this hotel when in the Sierra Vista area.
