Everything was good
Nice location, clean, easy parking, staff were helpful. My only complaint is the elevator was very slow.
Stay was good overall, a newer mattress would have helped with the sleep comfort. Thought they'd automatically do maid service but like a lot of place now, you have to ask. So had to ask for towels when we got back from a long day out, but they were responsive. Do know it's a time share and they will ask if you want to take a sales pitch meeting and they'll comp you a night's stay if you agree. Not our thing but for some could be a way to reduce costs. Water is right across the street. Wish we had a higher floor so road noise was less with patio door open. Good food up in town nearby.
It was a quick weekend trip and we really enjoyed it. We used to have a timeshare here and stayed many times. Still a great Oma w to stay
Our room was clean & spacious for our family. Beautiful sunsets & beach views & convenient parking. Great hotel amenities, pool, bikes, beach chairs, towels, gym & game room!
Book this place don’t think about it twice amazing stay
Our stay was great. We wanted an affordable place for our family of four for a week with a view of the ocean and an easy drive to Disneyland for a couple of the days. This place fit the bill perfectly! The pool was heated and we had it mostly to ourselves every day. It was great to watch the sun set over the ocean from the hot tub! We visited the games room on one of the rainy days and played some pool, shuffleboard, and foosball, and the kids had fun. We also borrowed bikes one of the days from the activity room, and really enjoyed our ride along the oceanfront across the street. There were a couple areas being renovated, but we didn't hear any noise from the work (the "outdatedness" seemed to be something many others mentioned in their reviews... they're actively upgrading a few areas). One of the other complaints we read beforehand was that there would be pressure to sign up to buy a vacation timeshare, but other than a quick mention of there being a presentation IF we were interested (which we weren't), it was never mentioned again during our eight-night stay. Overall, the grounds were well-kept, our room was comfortable, and the little kitchen was well-appointed with everything we were looking for during our stay (we ate breakfast and lunch at the room most days). People who like to complain could surely find something to complain about anywhere, but we personally had no issues with anything at all during our stay!
