At the Crater's Edge

It's location was unique as were the accommodations. Wish we could have stayed longer. Absolutely gorgeous gardens. Extra plus: hot tub!

We stayed in the Jade Garden room for two nights and highly recommend the property for anyone that will be visiting Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. The location is only a few minutes away which made it easy for us to explore the park during the day and then get a little rest before heading back to the park at night to see the lava. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the fireplace and the heated bed was greatly appreciated during the chilly morning hours in Volcano. Our hosts were also very thoughtful and provided fresh baked banana bread, fresh fruits and an assortment of complimentary drinks and snacks.

Our stay was perfect. The room was lovely and cozy. The hosts were amazing - very welcoming. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommend

Phenomenal little place right in the rainforest! We don't normally do small places and weren't sure what to expect, but the owners wowed us in every way! Clean, comfortable, and full of every amenity you could think of. Very short drive to Volcano National Park, but there isn't a ton else to do or see in the area - too bad because we would have loved to extend our stay At the Craters Edge!

Hosts were readily available but not intrusive, helped with suggestions on things to do, place to eat. Attention was paid to every detail, will absolutely visit again!

Gorgeous little rainforest oasis… just two rooms in a beautiful setting

This suite was wonderful. The owners take pride in their home and guest suites and it shows in the many extras provided here. The room was large with beautiful furnishings and the little extras that make a place special were evident everywhere. The room looked out onto a special garden and deck with hot tub. They provided a continental breakfast that included specially baked banana bread. Close to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This is truly a special paradise and highly recommend this place when in the area.

This place is amazing. They have truly thought of everything - we were sad we had to leave! Definitely even better than expected.

Staying here was amazing. We felt like we were in our own private house inside a rainforest. The place had a jacuzzi as well which was surrounded by trees. You could relax and listen to the nature surrounding you. I was worried there were going to be tons of bugs inside since it felt like it's a rainforest, but nope - everything was clean and well maintained. Staying here was such a unique and wonderful experience. On top of this, the hosts were super friendly too! They gave us suggestions on where to go, where to eat and were super friendly. They even had banana bread made and ready for us! They also had snacks for us and a fridge filled with goodies. Love love loved this place, the host and their hospitality. Our stay here was amazing and we definitely would stay again when we come back to Hawaii.
