Villa Bellagio Montpellier

The hotel is only good if you only need to stay 1 or a few nights (it was my case), and if you only worried to take a place to sleep. The room was ok, it was quite clean (unless the empty mini refrigerator, that was stinking and thus impossible to use), the hotel staff was gentle, and it had a little free parking lot. The hotel location is about 6 km from the downtown, thus its location is bad if you are not by car (it has no metro or tram station near it).

I needed a place close to Val d'Aurelle hospital, and this fit the bill. That's all I can say to really recommend it. It's an anonymous (but clean) place to sleep for a night or two.

Expect to take the tram to restaurants and tourist areas, but that is cheap and fast. The hotel was comfortable and clean, with a solid breakfast. I would recommend and will stay again if I return to Montpellier.

We arrived late (1 am) but nonetheless the staff was very efficient and kind. Unfortunately the room, linen and towels smelled very bad like everything had been cleaned with some kind of acid. Our SatNav had trouble to find the hotel due to the extensive road works in Montpellier. There are no late night places around and the hotel doesn't sell beer or anything so make provisions if you want to have a nightcap :-)

This hotel is fine for business. It is not a place that you would want to stay as a tourist. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast. The staff was very friendly but didn't speak too much English.

Nice Hotel, was not easy to find, If you dook for more than 1 bed, it will most likely be a sofa bed too.

This hotel is really only suitable for travellers with cars. It is a good 15 minute walk uphill from the nearest tram station and no clear directions. Only found it after asking directions locally. It is a 20 minute ride from the centre of Montpellier on the tram so not really suited for visiting the city or beaches. There is a supermarket next door and even though the rooms are fitted with kitchenettes they are locked away if you are staying less than 7 days so no coffee or tea facilities! Rooms very clean and some have balconies but some do look out over an adjoining industrial park. This hotel is really on the outer limits of Montpellier and suspect it is mainly used for long term appartment accomodation for students at the nearby university or visitors to the hospitals and medical research park.

Hotels is OK if you're stuck and nothing else is available. Far from town, not a 3 stars that's for sure.

It is a clean hotel, and the front desk is nice enough if you speak French. Be prepared to pay for anything extra like internet, parking, TV, etc. Also if you arrive late their is nothing nearby to eat, so you will be stuck with their frozen dinners. It is very inconvenient to get to from the train station if you aren't familiar with the area. It's a 15 miute tram ride then a 10 minute walk from the tram stop.
