Fantastic staff

The hotel was exceedingly clean. And the staff were very friendly. The beds were also comfortable and not hard.

The hotel has recently been renovated so the condition and cleanliness were excellent. The hotel is in a very convenient location and it is a great value for the price.

We had been traveling through New England for over a week and this was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in .

We stayed here for two nights 9/27 to 9/29/25 in room 209. The hotel is newly renovated and looks great. There is plenty of free parking and the hotel is easy to find. The lobby and dining areas are very nice. The front desk staff, esp. Fatima were very helpful. There is a small business center with a computer and printer.The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Coffee is provided in the am and included in the cost of breakfast. If you are a gold or diamond HH member you get a $10 pp F and B credit. They have 3 breakfast selections that the credit covers (you do end up paying the sales tax). There is a bar and snack area were you can use the credit if you do not want breakfast. Our room was medium sized, clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable and fairly high off the floor. It faces the rear parking area. The internet was decent, there was a fridge, coffee maker, tv, desk,side chair and microwave. There is a spot with cloths hangers but no actual closet. The bathroom is decent sized with good counterspace. The water pressure was weak. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay.

everything was great except the bed was too high for a person 5 foot tall. very difficult to get in bed

Perfect location for Mystic attractions and Groton area.

we did not get to check in! the girl at desk said she could not find our paid in full registration and told us to go somewhere else!! i even showed her our receipt and booking confirmation. Then she told us they were over booked and had no room for us! Do Not book here!!!!

Staff was excellent. Especially the dining staff. Did a great job with real;y n to enough personnel.

This is the first of the redesigned HGI's that I have stayed at and I was disappointed. No longer coffee available all day. Redesign of the eating area was poor with too much direct harsh lighting. We were able to hear all of the conversations in the hall and adjacent rooms. Very poor compared to the standard of the older HGI.
