Holiday Inn Express Sweetwater by IHG

The hotle staff waa lazy. The check in lady put on makeup and left there was nobody to check in the people that showed up there was 8 people waiting on her. When she got back she claimed her parking spot waa under the covered part where coustmers are supposed to unload thier stuff. She made the coustmers trying to unload move so she could park there..i have never seen someone just leave with nobody to check them in nor i have seen an employee have a rignt to park where people have to unload. The next morning the lady that was working microwave everything potatoes was raw and sausage was hard and the the egfs was rubbery . She put no care into the breakfast. It waa undee stocked so we couldn't find anything to eat that was eatable.

Hotel is terrible disrepair. Beds were completely broken and very itchy. Sunken in the middle of each bed. Couch bed was broken. We did not sleep and had a long day on the road the next day. Breakfast was decent. Tile broken in bathroom. Staff was apologetic.

Breakfast & Location was good.

Most of the things inside the hotel and in the room was either broken or in the poor state. Knob for the shower to turn on/off was broken, Furniture were either broken/in poor state, Power outlets in the room was not working. Their computer system was not working and not taking the payment after trying for 15 minutes. Then staff asked me to go to bed and pay in the morning. After 45 minutes at 11pm at night, another lady staff called me on the room landline and then on my cell phone called me to come down to make payment else vacate the hotel. I had to come out of the bed to make the payment in the night at 11pm. This was my worst experience and I want my money back, Looks they have just got the name of HolidayInn somehow but they are not worth. They are giving bad name to HolidayInn.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good. The outside and elevators and other areas are in need of maintenance wifi security needs to be updated and more training g for your staff. The two young people at front desk were very nice but they could use more training.

This hotel is old, but there are six charging stations in the back if you need a place to stay and charge your EV. Room faced the back of the hotel, which is very dark at night (nothing but fields and sky). Had to unplug the fridge because it was making too much noise, but still had a good night's sleep. Breakfast is served at 5:30 AM for those working in the oilfields. I would stay here again.
