Candlewood Suites Pearl by IHG

I loved having the ability to wash my clothes with more than 1 washer and dryer. I also loved how close the dollar store was. It was within walking distance.

I didn't like the order in the room but that was all!

We stayed for one night while traveling across country. When we checked in the staff was on the phone (fine), but we had to wait a while while other staff came in/out. Finally were given our room and upon entering there were some cleanliness issues. I had already asked for a different room and been told they were sold out, so we had to stick with what they gave us. To make things worse, the bed was broken. It was a queen bed and if you sat on the edge, or laid too close it collapsed, spilling you out. It was extremely uncomfortable. Overall we felt that we were on our own for these kinds of problems by the way we'd been cared for earlier. Finally, Be aware that if you don't stay at least 7 nights - you get *no* housekeeping. Overall this was a disappointing experience. I get that this is a discount property, but I still expected furniture that worked and the ability to fix things.

There were a few reviews that made us a little worried but the stay was great. Room was clean, great water pressure and temp, bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and great amount of space. We were able to check in early thankfully because we had an early concert. The staff were super nice and helpful!

Our air conditioner was a little loud but we were so sleepy after our concert it didn’t affect us.
