"Broken elevator, no electricity, cockroach"

I rarely write hotel reviews because most hotels are great and comfortable. There were several issues at this Staybridge that need to be addressed. (1) I arrived at the hotel at 6:02pm but no one came to the check-in desk until 6:15pm. There was no way to ring a bell to let anyone know that I was there. (2) Both elevators in the hotel were not working. My room was on the 3rd floor, so I asked for a room on a lower floor so I didn't have to carry up a suitcase to the 3rd floor. They would not make a room change, and I had to carry a suitcase up the stairs. (3) In the room, 1 of the televisions did not work at all. (4) The charging outlets between the beds had no power running to them. I had to charge my phone in the other room. (5) The elevators STILL were not working at 8:00am. I had to carry my suitcase back down the stairs. I understand 1 elevator not working but both? This is very inconvenient plus a huge issue related to accessibility. The hotel should have had this fixed asap. (6) As I showered in the morning, I looked up to see a cockroach climbing around the ceiling fan. It was really the icing on a very bad visit to this hotel.

"WE WOULD STAY AT THE STAYBRIDGE SUITS AGAIN."

WE WERE SATISFIED. MOTEL WAS CLEAN, AND ALL THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY. I AM A VIETNAM MARINE VETERAN AND WAS EXPECTING TO GET A BETTER PRICE THEN WHAT I PAID.

Breakfast self service and good standard. Free happy hour bar weekdays Mon to Thursday.

Air con very noisy, needed to wear ear plugs to get any sleep. But this is quite normal for similar hotels I have stayed at in Brownsville.

"Stay bridge definitely a must!"

Everything about it.. peaceful, serene, friendly and exceptional staff!! In front desk all the hosts and hostesses were always helpful and great at answering any questions I had.

Perhaps it was only the time I was there but the internet was slow and the movie channel were not available in the room where I stayed at.
