Staybridge Suites Houston - Willowbrook by IHG

The centralized location of the hotel, the hotel room layout, the overall appearance of the hotel!

The water in the bathroom sink and shower was brown. The shower did not drain, 4" of water after a minute of letting the shower run to see if the brown color went away, it didn't. And the hall ways smelled like rotten Brussel sprouts. Only good thing to say, is the staff was very nice and helpful

i liked that I thought I would stay in a suite with enough beds for my family, but that turned out bad!

Staff were very rude and misled us about housekeeping. Description of hotel didn't match what is on website.

The room I booked was kot what we were given. I booked a suite and they lodged us in a suite because they were fully booked. Plus they were not apologetic about it.

The social hour evening appetizers choices and the drink stations didn't work during the my stay. The pool needs more attention to get rid of the green algae like spots along the pool wall and the outside lighting around and in the pool wasn't turned on. In addition, there were several key card readers not working on the property.

Bed Bugs or Fleas!!! I had reservations and attempted to stay at this hotel for one night. I did not last an hour because of an infestation of either bed bugs or fleas. Upon sitting on the bed for 15 minutes, I was covered in bugs and began to get bitten. I immediately gathered my bags that were on the floor, but they were already covered in bugs as well. The employee at the front desk was very helpful at the time and confirmed that he too saw the bugs after my complaint. Believe it or not it gets worse from there. Management denied the incident when I complained. I have been staying at IHG hotels for decades and have never filed a complaint, but this was ridiculous. I will never stay at this location, or any other hotels owned by this management group. It was a disgusting experience and to be called a liar made it even worse!

The property and staff are great 👍

Breakfast is terrible compared to other StayBridge hotels. The last time I stayed there, I thought it was on the lower level of StayBridge, but I could still put up with it. This time, however. I was there at 7:30 AM, central time, and the food, only scrambled eggs and fries, drinks were out of order and unavailable, plus the food tasted funny. I think anyone who stayed at this hotel noticed this anomaly and had the same impression.　I think the employees were probably aware of this unusual situation, but were either unable to handle it or were waiting for the time to pass. I would have asked for a refund, but I only stayed one day and was busy, so I will stay away from this hotel on my next trip to the Houston area!　By the way, I am a customer who only stays at StayBridge hotels. It's a shame because the other StayBridge's are usually good.
