Staybridge Suites Fort Wayne by IHG

Room was amazing! Clean! Love the 12PM Checkout.

The location was great, our room was amazing we loved the way it was set up it was clean also. The guy who checked us in was amazing, very nice and had a smile the whole time!

Our first night there we pulled out the sofa bed for our friend that was traveling with us and there were no linens other than a fitted sheet, no big deal hotels typically leave linens for a pull out in a bag in one of the closet so I grab it and there were no linens just 2 pillows and no pillow cases on them. So I went down to the front desk and ask for linens and pillow cases for the pillows for the pull out and the woman looked at me and said the linens should be in your closet with the attitude of I was bothering her. I politely told her there were no linens in the closet just 2 pillows and no pillow cases. She said well they must’ve forgotten. She gets the linens and tells me they don’t have any pillow cases. No big deal we aren’t the type of people who HAS to have pillow cases. I told her thank you and went back to my room. The next morning about 7am people above us were stomping around and it lasted till noon. I didn’t complain because again I’m not a complainer. We just let it go. Saturday night rolls around and our trash cans are getting full, we choose not to be bothered with maids, I went down to ask for a big trash can because I didn’t want to leave our room trashed for the maids the next day. It was the same woman at the desk from the night before. I asked her for a large trash bag and told her that our trash cans in our room were getting full. She said you know we pay our maids to do that. I said yes I do know I use to be a hotel maid years ago which is why I would rather not leave the room trashed. I got the trash bag went back to my room. A few hours later the people above us were stomping around again, mind you it’s about midnight. This time I call the front desk and complained. It was taken care of. We are very happy people and never complain at hotels we stay at. I loved the hotel absolutely no complaints about the hotel it was how I was made to feel like I was bothering the front desk worker.

The staff was kind. The room had everything we needed for our stay to feel comfortable. Everything was extremely clean.

The breakfast was very good. Good variety of choices.

There was nothing I did not like.

The pool, basketball court, free breakfast, and the fact that they had a grill area was phenomenal!! Not to mention the fully furnished kitchen in our room!!

Very pleased with cleanliness, comfort and items provided in the room/kitchen. Definitely would stay here again. We forgot to bring along an HDMI cable. I have been able to borrow these at hotels before, but this particular Staybridge did not have one available. That is the only thing we could have wished for that was not provided.
