"Musty, moldy, rubbery stay"

This was a last minute stay while traveling through. It was a late check in and the staff that checked us in were very nice and got us checked in quickly. The price was right for 2 adults and 4 kids. The room was a good size for the six of us.

We were so tired and so late when we checked in I didn't inspect the room well (just checked for bedbugs) we came in and I told my husband it smelled musty with a strong cleaning smell. Honestly at this point we just wanted to go to bed the room wasn't very cool for the size of the room even turned wide open the AC wasn't working well but again traveling with 4 kids we just wanted to crash. The next morning the musty smell was way more noticeable and there was a drip leaking from the ceiling above the shower which was moldy then I noticed the picture hanging in the bathroom had mold growing on it. My husband pointed out they definitely had knowledge of it because its been painted over several times. Also there was a nasty hard stain beside the bed on the floor I dont even want to know. They need someone inspecting their rooms. We went ahead to breakfast which would have been a good breakfast had the waffles not been soggy and rubbery the sausage I am not sure how they cooked it probably the microwave. The high light of it was a bagel I toasted and the kids dumped the waffles for cereal. The breakfast lady did not seem at all happy and at 9:27 she turned the lights off on someone in there trying to get coffee. Way below the standard of the breakfast we usually get in a Marriott. Between the mold and the breakfast I am glad we only stayed a few hours if it had been a better stay we would have probably enjoyed that noon check out time.

"Okay Stay"

We encountered a problem with our television. It couldn't be resolved before we checked out so we were credited a small amount of money back on to our card. Great customer service I do believe the staff went above and beyond to try their best to resolve the issue.

The fact that they couldn't get the television set to work.

"Very Disappointed!!"

I like the location. Many restaurants to eat within walking distance.

The hotel room was not as clean as you would expect for a hotel that has a customer rating of 8/10 on booking.com. The overall cleanliness did not meet my expectations. I could not tell if the bedsheets had been changed or not. I found some parts in the restroom dirty. The sofa bed was disgusting with multiple huge dirty stains. My daughter ended up just sleeping on the sofa itself with multiple sheets over it. The AC vents are non-adjustable, which caused the AC to blow into my face all night. I tried lowering the fan but it just made the room warm so I end up having to put it back on full blast. I always book 8+ customer rating hotels because they have never disappointed until this one. I won't be staying here again.

If you’re thinking about booking this hotel through a third-party site, don’t. We booked our room days in advance, received a confirmation, and drove over 9 hours from Virginia with a newborn and a dog, only to find out at check-in that the hotel had canceled our reservation without any notice or communication whatsoever. Instead of taking responsibility, the male receptionist blamed Booking.com for the cancellation and the multiple charges made to our account. However, when Booking.com contacted the hotel directly, the same receptionist admitted that it was actually the hotel that canceled the reservation. On top of that, they charged us $200 and then another $175 after we had already paid when making the reservation. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and incredibly stressful after traveling all day with a baby and pet. Avoid this place if you don’t want your trip ruined before you even check in.

Breakfast was very good. Had room on 3 floor , let water run for long time to get hot water.

The channel line up on tv could be better. Less weather and sports . More movie channels.
