Amazing location right in the heart of the Cairngorms. Pub with a shop opposite too. Well equipped and cosy/comfy chill out spaces. Cheap food served on site too.

The beds weren't the comfiest but you get what you pay for. Wouldn't put me off staying again.

Managed to get in to the car park in time, very busy otherwise. Location absolutely brilliant for Loch Morlich, just a 6 minute meandre across to the beach. Great reception team, friendly and chatty. Fully equipped kitchen although my fellow travellers were not so great at keeping it clean, and only one colander which they couldn't be bothered to clean and dirty utensils left everywhere. Loved the shower/sink/toilet pods, each bunk has its own secure storage under the bottom bunk, the upper bunks also have both a power socket and USB charging port as well as a light. Downstair there is a quiet communal room which unfortunately wasn't treated as such, a tv room and also a dining room. Wifi was reliable, as mobile signal is poor, but took a few attempts to get on.

The rooms would be far better as having only a max capacity of 6 rather than 8, but understand chucking another unit outwards in to the room earns more money for them. Got unlucky as had snorers on both nights which was not great, also had a miserable Aussie woman who decided that when she was out of the room she'd wedge the room door open with the bin. I closed the door, it was 6am, and when she came back in she informed me that she had wedged the door open to stop the noise of the door - oblivious to the fact that others may have expensive items lying around and want security - when I shrugged she then stated that it was lucky she had her key with her. Who leaves a hotel / guest house / hostel room without taking a key with them? More colanders please!
