Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort

I wish I had more time to spend simply at this Hotel. The pool was grand and the pool bar would serve you food and drinks, so in the humidity, we were able to eat in a very comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are big and luxurious. The food served all round had lots of variety and was good. I wanted a whole day to stay in the Champagne bar! I didn't make it to the Spa, but can imagine it fits the standards of this hotel and staff. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout.

What a treat to spend 3 days in the serene beauty of this resort. We loved the attention to detail- starting with the sublime fragrance of the lobby and especially the warm welcome from every single member of the staff!! The breakfast buffet is amazing. The spa was delightful. The music in the champagne bar, so relaxing.. I could go on and on.

We were on a river cruise by AMA waterways and they chose the hotel. Very glad that they did as the hotel was fantastic! As you can see from the pictures, the hotel and grounds are magnificent. The staff was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for their guests! They have a French restaurant which was outstanding, again see pictures. Frankly, I didn’t want to leave!

We had an amazing stay at the Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome — friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel itself is a peaceful oasis in Siem Reap. The gardens are beautiful, the décor is stylish, and the whole place has a calm, elegant feel. It was the perfect escape after exploring the busy town and temples. Having travelled quite a bit, this hotel really stands out. The combination of great service, comfort, and charm made our trip unforgettable, and we’d happily return. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special — they are a real credit to Sofitel.

THe breakfast was amazing. The bird ephasis was really neat.

Despite being in the middle of a populated area, it's like walking into an oasis. The moment we were picked up at the airport, to being greeted when entering the hotel, to the moment you're escorted to your room, service is perfection. Staff was extremely helpful from beginning to end. Enjoyed eating at both restaurants and lounge..including the specialty restaurant. Salom did a wonderful job of arranging a private tour for us to visit the ruins. The concierge as well as the rest of the team, truly made this a memorable experience.

One of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in! The service was outstanding, all staff members are very attentive. The food in the restaurant (Citadel), was amazing, not only breakfast but also dinner.

What’s not to say? First class all the way - the stand out characteristics are the attention to detail and the consummate professionalism and care given be every member of the Hotel staff. You may expect that treatment , but the Sofitel in Angkor (Siem Reap) consistently delivered. We have traveled extensively and here the standard is set - from rooms, dining, spa & pool, hotel grounds and as mentioned - the staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely no complaints. Lovely hotel, gracious staff, great food, and best bed! I will definitely recommend and hope to return.
