InTown Suites Extended Stay Norfolk VA

When we arrived we were treated terribly. Debra was rude and made me, (after being told I could not walk that far by my daughter)a disabled individual who has three pelvic fractures come all the way in to check us in because my 33 year old daughter is 4’9” tall and looks like a teenager when casually dressed. She could have asked for her ID If she needed both our ID’s I could have stopped by the desk on our way inside. Also, your site states pet friendly and as soon as she heard we had 2 service dogs she got even nastier. She tried to say I needed certification, according to the ADA I DO NOT! I only need a letter from my physician. I have had service dogs for 7 years, This was the first time I have ever been discriminated against because of my need for a service animal. I am a Constitutional Law Paralegal, I know my rights and I KNOW THE LAW! I am also a card carrying member of the ACLU!!! Then she caught herself wanting to know what disability I have that the dog provides a service for. AGAIN AGAINST ADA GUIDELINES!!! The disabilities do NOT EVER HAVE TO BE DISCLOSED NOT EVEN IN THE LETTER! We came here because we tried Virginia Beach a few they called me the day of, claiming they didn’t have the room I booked they only had a premium and I would have to pay the larger fee, or even though it was YOUR ESTABLISHMENT’s fault!!! We read reviews and Debra’s were great hence, why we decided to give your company ANOTHER TRY BIG MISTAKE!

My brother stays here while taking chemotherapy at Brock Cancer Center, he really likes it

Besides the children playing in lobby with basketballs, people blaring music in the front desk and the smells of cigarette throughout... The room had bloodstains and dirty handprints everywhere. The bathroom was missing a handle for the sink... Towels were dirty and bathtub was broken...

This is a good place if you are on a tight budget. Small towels. Friendly tenants, all the functions of a hotel are there.

I didn't get there until 5 and the room was not ready other than that I think you should enjoy it

Worst hotel in my 24 year's of constant travel. Pictures don't do this place justice on how run down it is. I lasted less than 30 minutes and had to check out. Rude staff when I checked out. How is this hotel still allowed to operate and not condemned? If this is the last hotel available to stay, sleep in your car. Pathetic

The hotel staff is terrible. It doesn't matter if you reserve a room or not, even if you have already paid for it. They give away all rooms to anyone who shows up. If you book your room and someone else gets there before your room to them. They do not care. The evening manager Jessica is extremely rude and should find another job due to her complete unprofessionalism. I will tell anyone who mentions this hotel not to waste their time or money here and I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know the same thing!

Despite having a guaranteed late arrival reservation, my room was given away w/o explanation in a very rude manner.

Bates Motel!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! NASTY....Check-in horrible, one person she acted as if she didnt care, couldnt find my reservation which was paid for after I stood in line over an hour to get checked in. I am a non smoker - received a handicapped accessible smoking room. Dont walk on carpet barefooted.....disgusting!!! Weed smelling throughout the hallways. One slow elevator. Front desk closes down at a certain time until a certain time next morning. This hotel should be removed from Hotels.com as a matter of fact any website.
