The pool area is lovely and the beach is great

The location close to the beach is good in theory but the beach was not useable as while the hotel in its website and its communication directly to me promises use of equipped beach, and even confirmed when I asked to book it known it involved extra cost - turned out the beach is available only from June 1.

The hotel advertises an equipped comfortable beach and in private messages sent after the booking repeated this saying we can book beach and parking for extra cost. When we came it turned out there is no private beach access, the sunbed and umbrella will only be available after June 1. When asked why they did not qualify the message saying the beach is only available from June 1, but rather offering (and confirming it) to a client coming in May they said twice that if they write that they will lose half the clients. Thus means they knowingly mislead clients to think they are coming to a hotel with a private beach. When asked for partial refund because of this they refused and when I asked that at least they’ll undertake the cost of going to nearby private equipped beach they said they will check it but never got back to me. Instead they complained to Booking that I refuse to pay and threatened to call the police in fact did a prank as if they are calling the police to scare me. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake and misleading they tried to blame me and repeatedly in troubling way said I care only about money. I tried to explain I care about beach as this is the reason I booked them. PS I saw the hotel's response, the fact remains that knowing my booking is for May the hotel sent me a message offering the equipped beach services and approved when I asked for it. The fact remained that they did it. The fact remains that when I asked why in the message they sent me after booking they did not qualify the beach is available only after June 1 they said they will lose many clients if they write it. The fact remains they threatened for no reason to call the police and in a silly way pretended to do so. The fact remains they kept saying again and again that I care only about money, which was suspicious to me why would they say that to me.

Nada que objetar

Located just a 15-minute walk along the beautiful coastline, this was a wonderful place to stay. The property was exceptionally well presented, the beach was easily accessible, and the pool provided a welcome change from the sea. The staff were all incredibly friendly, polite and engaging, helping to make our visit to Sicily truly memorable. One thing worth noting for future guests is that many of the photos highlight the stunning sea-view rooms. After politely enquiring, the staff explained that these rooms had been fully booked months in advance. In hindsight, they appeared quite compact and perhaps not ideal for two people to spend much time on the balcony anyway. While I was a little disappointed not to enjoy one of those iconic sea-view balconies, it certainly did not detract from what was otherwise an exceptional stay in Sicily. I would happily return.
