Grassy Flats Resort & Beach Club

We stayed at Grassy Flats for 3 days in August. The property is beautiful- we had a room in adults only with balcony facing the water and overlooking the pool. We used the free paddle boards and kayaks which were great. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the bathroom had 2 sinks which was very nice. They opened a casual restaurant and grocery store next door which was terrific. Manager Michael was friendly and had a great selection of gourmet but reasonably priced groceries. It was not clear on website that there is no beach at the property but staff directed us to nearby beaches and place to watch beautiful sunset. We went to Key West for half day- about 1.5 hr drive. Fun to see but rather tourist focused. Happy we stayed where we did. The only note about the hotel is that there is a smell from the surrounding area that may be displeasing to guests. Suggestion would be to sell scented candles or diffusers in lobby or store. Also the chairs on the balcony would be far more comfortable with cushions. However this is a wonderful place to stay in the Keys!

Only comment is that one has to drive to a beach as there is not one at the property.

Amazing staff and great facility! Would definitely recommend. We stayed in an adult only king room. Super clean and nice view of the water with a balcony. Received a welcome drink upon arriving! No resort fees!

Elise and everyone else that was at the front was super helpful and accommodating! I had some things I needed to get frozen and they were able to help me out right away. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the area As well! The views here are incredible and highly recommended for good views or bringing your loved one(s)

This was our 2nd time here, We were celebrating an Anniversary, so we stayed for three nights. It was a great package price. It is very relaxing and not too busy at this time of year in August. The two negative things were of course the Sargassum seaweed smell, (you do get used to it after a while) and the ice maker was broken. I had to make several trips to the bar to refill. The food at the Rhum House was excellent as usual, and the staff was very helpful. We would stay again, maybe at a different time of the year. There are many places to go around the Marathon area.

The people we're friendly, helpful, and communicative. The rooms were thoughtfully designed and furnished. An awesome place to visit the Keys from or just chill and relax!

Amazing resort. Everything was on point. The service the staff, everyone was very helpful and happy to tell us about the key and recommend beaches, restaurants, activities. Room was perfect! Quiet clean and well decorated. And the pool was a delight! Thank for taking great care of us. 💛
