Got up late and missed breakfast .

Rooms seemed clean.

My reservation could not be found, despite me giving the front desk staff the confirmation number for the reservation. My wife and I had to wait over 30 minutes to get a room; it was really late and we were exhausted. When we finally got a room key (room 104), it was already occupied. We had to go back AGAIN to the front desk and wait some more to finally get a room.

There were rooms available during the winter storm we had.

We waited about ten minutes at the front desk and rang the bell for the front desk attendant had to call the hotel to get someone to the front desk. A little later I asked for an extra towel and when the lady handed it to me she said don’t get red dye on my towels I’ll have to charge for damages. The room was nice but there was a sticky spot in the floor in front of the dresser the lamp in the wall wouldn’t stay up kept falling to the side also was loose from the wall. The towel rack was also loose and was hanging at an angle. Other guest around and above kept slamming the doors stomping around and someone had a full on conversation on a speaker. Couldn’t reach the front desk and Boone was there when I went down to the lobby. Also the return vent was rusted.

It was not on a busy street. It had a lake around it. Did not use the pool but it did seem to look clean. The elevator worked. The staff was fairly friendly. Plenty of parking. There was a waffle machine that did work.

The carpet was worn and dirty. This place is in need of a remodel. There was a couple of barking dogs. We were put over the front desk. The TV was on most of the time in the lobby and we were able to hear that and all the talking. Smoking outside that drifted inside.
