Breakfast and evening meals were very good

Small double was a little too small

Location excellent and unspoilt. Room cosy and clean. Breakfast was excellent, and most of the food at dinner. Staff very helpful and polite

One meal was poor, which is unusual. The vegetables were raw and inedible. Apparently there was a different chef that night. There are quite a few new staff, and all were perfect apart from one young girl, who kept getting the orders wrong.

The noise from customers of the pub can be intrusive at night and the rooms are hot with no air conditioning meaning you need to keep the windows open

Lovely old charm and vintage feel to the property set in a quiet village

Bathroom was a bit dated I had to leave the property early so couldn’t take advantage of the breakfast that was included in the price. There was no reduction of the room rate or offer of a complimentary drink with my evening meal.

I have to be gluten free so advised them of this when booking and they provided all I needed for breakfast and the evening meal.
