Comfort Inn & Suites Fairburn - Atlanta Southwest

As soon as I got in my hotel room where the door didn’t lock or the keypad even work my bed had cigarette holes in the sheets the ac didn’t work appropriately and there were water leaks in the lobby. After leaving with 20 mins I didn’t receive any type of refund. The worst situation ever.

I do not know why this hotel has a rating of very good. I used this rating to determine if I would stay at this hotel and in was inaccurate. The hotel was not clean, there were stains all over the carpet, walls were damaged and not repaired. Some walls had been spackled but not painted. The fobs for rooms or exterior doors did not work. The exterior door fob sensors were hanging off the wall. The elevator was broken. Stairwells were smelly and had items stored in them (power washer with hose). Furniture was dated and dirty. I could have stayed somewhere else for a better price.

The room was a bit cramped and there were stains on the carpet starting from the hallway. I will request 1st floor next time.

The room accommodations were nice. The elevator went on day 2 and was not repaired, requiring all guests to use the stairs. This was a challenge for my spouse, who is legally blind.

Cleaning Staff was Accommodating

The Elevator was down the (3) day stay. People got stuck on the elevator and the Emergency Police had to come and get them out. Floors in rhe rooms need professional cleaning. Need better Cable Service; there were no Major Channels to watch and the TV'S were no more than a 32 inch; very small for the Rooms.

Loved the cleanliness, the way the staff was friendly and consistent, and the location was wonderful with a variety of food choices. I will be returning on my next vacation to atl.

The only thing that could be updated is the breakfast choices other than that it was excellent.
