Sehr schönes Hotel, fußläufig nahe zur Innenstadt von Chiang Mai und zur "Einkaufsstraße" und dem Nacht-Markt. Etwas von der Straße zurückgerückt und wunderschön eingegrünt. Umliegende, höhere Häuser sind fast nicht wahrnehmbar. Mit unserem Zimmer, einem Delux-Zimmer waren wir sehr zufrieden, sowohl mit der Größe, der Ausstattung, der Sauberkeit, als auch der Lage des Zimmers. Das Frühstück war gut, natürlich muss man sich hier Thai-Usus anpassen, Wurst und Käse ist dann eben weniger oder gar nicht vorhanden. Ansonsten aber prima. Der Pool ist nicht groß, aber ausreichend. Nach einem Stadtbummel ist es nett dort zu liegen und ausspannen. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde die Anlage komplett "eingeräuchert", als Prävention gegen Moskitos. Wir hatten zwar ein paar im Zimmer, aber die waren kein Problem. Wir können das Hotel als kleines Idyll in einer recht großen Stadt weiterempfehlen. Das Personal ist wie fast immer in Thailand sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und nett.

Es gibt leider Kritikpunkte: 1. Leider hat das Hotel kein Restaurant mehr, in dem am Abend speisen kann. 2. Die Bar / das Restaurant macht um Punkt 16:00h zu. Das ist schade. Daher kann man weder einen Drink zum Sundowner noch ein Abendessen vor Ort genießen. 3. Kaffee zum Frühstück gibt es nur aus der Thermoskanne, obwohl eine gute Kaffeemaschine vorhanden ist. Wünscht man eine Kaffee oder Cappuccino aus der Maschine wird der extra berechnet. Eigentlich ein NoGo.
