Adarin Beach Resort

The situation of the hotel.

We chose this hotel because of the relatively good ratings we had seen online and because we already knew the beautiful beaches of Mae Nam. Unfortunately, after 15 days in this hotel, the experience was a real disappointment, and we were very happy to change location and hotel. Apart from the quiet atmosphere, the location, and the breakfast, everything else was negative. Cleanliness was very poor: the bed linen was never changed during our 15-day stay, the bathroom mirror was never cleaned, the beach mattresses and tables were covered with bird droppings, the terrace was not swept, and the bath towels were torn and worn out. This is unacceptable. The only positive point is the small swimming pool, which was clean and usable. The general condition of the hotel is bad and clearly neglected. Everything is worn out and deteriorated. During our stay, two guests were injured when a rotten wooden floorboard at the bar broke; one of them had to be taken to hospital. The broken board was only replaced three days later. Many areas are rusty, decayed, and potentially dangerous. Night lighting is minimal or not working. It is obvious that no real investment has been made in this hotel for a long time. At €100 per night, this property is absolutely not worth the price. Several other guests we spoke to shared the same opinion.

Location

It's an old hotel. The bed is hard; it doesn't have springs, just wooden slats. We had a beachfront villa, but the room was small: there was no trash can, no table to put your glasses, keys, etc. There was nowhere to put your suitcase (it had to go on the floor). The breakfast was bad... the coffee and bread were terrible! We had booked 7 nights, and after the 3rd night, we went to another resort. We asked to speak to the manager, and for three days, no one attended to us or liste ned to us... only the receptionist, who couldn't make any decisions, since if the hotel had emailed Booking.com, they could have refunded us the nights we didn't want to stay there... but no one helped us! At reception, they said for 3 days that the manager was busy, etc.

Son emplacement : pas de véritable plage - un grand boulevard pas agréable ni esthétique lorsqu’on se rendait à l’extérieur L’établissement aurait besoin d’un sérieux rafraîchissement : planches rafistolées, vieilles baies plastiques, peintures à refaire en particulier pour le restaurant , fils électriques de couleur au pieds des poteaux du restaurant, sacs éventrés pour retenir le semblant de sable…

Hotelanlage, Ausstattung

Lange, sehr abgelegen, ohne Fahrzug nicht praktikabel. Strand, nicht nutzbar. Anlage, renovierungsbedürftig.

Neu renovierter Bungalow direkt am Meer. Frühstück mit Tendenz zu 4* Link und rechts den Strand entlang nette Lokale (Jamaika, Nana) und Massagen

Die Flut nimmt den kleinen Strand ein. Man hat aber doch oberhalb der Mauer einen schönen Bereich mit Liegen

Nice hotel but could do with a bit of a make over. The location was nice as it was away from the main road but you really do need a scooter or taxis to get about.
