"Tiny room and street noise"

Booked a Double Seaview room. Disappointed to learn room with 2 balconies in this category, as shown on website, and requested the week before was not available upon check-in. Assigned a room on 2nd floor that was approximately 10x12 (US Standard), or about 11 meters. Needless to say, super tiny room and not very comfortable for 2 nights. There was no where to put luggage or unpack. We kept one suitcase on the luggage rack and the other on a small bench we removed from the bathroom. Our room was on the 2nd floor which is open to the reception area below so you hear noise from 1st floor. Water view is nice but lots of street noise,(ie:motorcycles.) Would not stay here again; poor value for the amount of money we paid. Very disappointed with the room.

This hotel was so charming and just lovely. The staff was remarkable. The check in desk did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The breakfast staff went above and beyond and the housekeeping staff was very professional and kept our room immaculate. Also, the location was phenomenal. I highly recommend this boutique hotel when you visit.

Location! Location! A solid first class hotel with exceptional service. At this time of year it was a quiet hotel. Our particular room and bathroom was very comfortable, I slept great. The second floor of our suite, and second bathroom was not needed. The breakfast was very good, the best of all our hotels while touring Sicily. The front desk staff were truly a delight.
