"A poor experience to say the least"

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Ranger on the game drive was also very knowledgeable.

It looks like the establishment was opened in 2006. Which is about 20 years ago, but it appears like very little maintenance and improvements have been made. It is not maintained and is very shabby. The artefacts on display are in poor display condition and has not been done tastefully. The furniture in the rooms are weathered and beaten and the curtains and linen are left much to be desired. We upgraded our room immediately as the Delux rooms are horrible. The Lakeside Rooms are better but the curtains are so dusty and dirty if you touch them it leaves your hands dirty. Outside our room at the back was old Woolworths paper bags and garbage. There were also bird droppings inside the room. The restaurant is not open for dinner and you must have dinner in the pub, from the pub lunch menu. Not ideal at all. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and that is a tragedy in all respects. I managed to get some pics of the breakfast buffet about an hour into breakfast service. Overall a very poor experience. The staff are however wonderful and they try hard as they know they’re dealing with potentially very unhappy guests.

"They don't allow out side food and drinks, which is fair, but they doesn't have good offerings"

Breakfast, very good breakfast

Dinner/Lunch: The food was terrible. Even after requesting to reduce the salt in the dishes, we weren't able to eat them because of the salt; the food was served very cold as well.

Oh man everything about this place is giving high rate. The staff is amazing from the lodge manager Tsholo, Mr Moyo and the rest of the team you guys are amazing your customer service is on point. The place is neat and peaceful my kids didn’t want to leave. Parking is secure and the breakfast is to die for really thank you for making mine and my family long weekend amazing. See you soon

Couldn’t do game drive because of the mud and spa was fully booked and it’s all my fault for not booking in time
