Long Beach Lodge Resort

We had a wonderful stay on this rugged and picture beach. The hospitality and care of all of the staff were amazing. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast as well as dinner. Compliments to the chef. We cannot wait to come back here!

The relaxed west coast charm of Long Beach Lodge Resort exceeded our expectations. It was full of tiny details and extras, like treats for our dog, slippers, and candy, that made our stay extra special. We especially enjoyed our evening walks along Cox Beach and the wonderful dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Carlene’s smile and professionalism really made our restaurant experience exemplary. Thank you for a great stay!

Unfortunately Long Beach Lodge with its beautiful location is now a faded lady. This was our 3rd visit. We were given a room on the 2nd floor (lovely view) that one could only enter through the kitchen. Offered a second room with a tree blocking the view, so we returned to our kitchen haven. Never dreamed you’d pay $640 a night and up to walk through the hotel kitchen. Never dreamed you’d need to call housekeeping at 2 pm for a tidy up. Having brunch in the Great Room was a disappointment. Overcooked scrambled eggs, previously cooked bacon (nuked?) and poor service. There were only 3 couples including ourselves being served in the dining room. It took over 15 minutes for new eggs to arrive which I refused. I’d hate to see what happens when they are busy. Even the attitude of the employees has changed and not for the better. Sorry to say it needs a shake up!

After arriving in Tofino, I found that the hotel I had booked said they had no record of my reservation. May long weekend, and no place to stay. I saw online that Long Beach Lodge might have some space, but I was hesitant to book online again, so I made my way to the hotel. When I arrived at reception, I was greeted by Hannah, who was tremendously sympathetic to my plight and managed to find me a room. While there was no guarantee of a second night, I was grateful to have a bed to sleep in that evening. I was thrilled the next morning to learn that Hannah had secured a second night for me, and the accommodations were fantastic. The spa experience was another example of fantastic customer service. Stacey at the front desk worked to find me a last-minute massage appointment, and when one of the therapists was sick, she managed to get a replacement in ASAP. No one would have been the wiser to her feet kicking beneath the water as she was the picture of serenity. Heather performed the massage, and I can't say enough good things about her and her skills. Meals were excellent, and the restaurant staff continued to show me how well trained they were and that they truly cared about my experience. Thank you, Long Beach Lodge, you turned a potential disaster of a weekend into a true joy.

The resort exceeded my expectations. Everything one could want was right in one place. The spa was incredible with a shout out to Jamie and Christine, as well as manager, Stacy. The food was incredible and all dietary requests were cheerfully and easily accommodated. Did not try surfing, but the fact that lessons are offered at the resort would be ideal, especially for any novice surfers. Even though the resort is a 5 star, there was still a laid back, unpretentious vibe. All staff were incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend Long Beach Lodge for a romantic getaway, or for a family gathering. This might have to become an annual getaway! Thanks to all the hard working staff!

Always the best place to stay, wonderful beach walks, cozy fire pits, comfortable beds, a great restaurant, perfect spa in the woods. The friendliness of everyone of the staff with kind hellos and wonderful service! Sunsets are incredible!

Checked in few days ago for our week stay , super happy to say so far we enjoyed every second of it , truly it is one of the best luxury oceanfront resort around Tofino variety rooms and cottage to choose from , maybe low tourist season , not overcrowd the whole resort so amazing peaceful and tranquility environment all around ! it is out door lovers paradise land , so much out door fun to do like surfing hiking lot wildlife to explore or just laid back in the fire pit watch the wave roll in and out from the mighty Pacific Ocean , why go abroad with the hustle and bustle airport crowed ! front desk very friendly and accommodating , our deluxe room spacious cozy with breathtaking view of the ocean nice comfy bedding modern bathroom not a hair can find toiletries well stocked restaurant on site , it is one of the best Resort I been just prestigious , plus all the resort staff we meet they all polite and attentive , truly recommend this resort if you really looking for rejuvenation land of no worries in low tourist season ( Staff told us Summer season here like a ZOO )
