Hotel Foresteria Volterra

Het Hotel ligt op loopafstand van het historische stadje Volterra. Het is een schoon en opgeruimd eenvoudig hotel met supervriendelijk personeel. Er kan eenvoudig maar lekker worden gegeten en voor Italiaanse begrippen een prima ontbijt, kortom een aanrader !

We booked this hotel principally because of its rooms for disabled access, Our expectations were exceeded mainly because the staff all had a very friendly helpful and natural manner and did everything possible to make our stay a pleasure. We found the room, beds and pillows (others complained about) firm but not hard and ideal for a good night's rest' Birdsong outside our window was the ideal wake-up. The location was ideal for trips round the hill towns of Tuscany

O hotel de um modo geral é bom para os padrões europeus.Bastante afastado do centro.Café da manhã razoável. Serviço cortes.

Boas instalações. Localização ótima, mas o acesso ao hotel não é muito simples

Muy buena atencion por parte de su propietaria. La habitacion un poco fria, el hotel muy cercano a la ciudad y el desayuno fantadtico

Otimo hotel, quartos bem amplos e confortaveis, quartos bem confortaveis.

From the outside it looked a little grim, however the welcome was very warm and the room spacious, cool and airy with a little balcony overlooking fields at the back. The teenagers had bunk beds and ours was large and comfy. It is a little outside the town and at night the walk back was a bit eerie - however the appearance of fireflies dancing along the road in front of us turned it into a magical experience. The breakfasts were the usual fare but with nice home made cake - and we ate there one evening and we were surprised at the quality of the food and how reasonable it was. The staff were extremely accommodating

4 summerdays in a wonderfull scenery. you want to paint everything you see or take pictures. the atmosphere in the area is historic and overwelming, only 600 mtrs from old Volterra. exelent place to stay if you want to take daytrips to Siena, Lucca, Pisa and Florence. all places worth visiting. the hotel serves local gourmet dishes, fx "fishsoupe" cacciucco, carpacio with truffels. many Italien wines to choose among and wellguided by the waiters. clean small rooms with oldfashioned furnitures and drapes. a tecnical mantenance af the rooms wouldt be a good idea. the wifi coverage is low. wouldt bee nice with good Wifi in rooms at at the poolarea. staff that made a special effort was waiter Lorenzo on Ramiona at the reception. we will absolutely visit again

Large hotel . Basic rooms but very clean. I agree with reviews beds hard and pillows the same. But why we would stay there again was the staff and service. When they couldn't get a taxi for us to go into town, a staff member drove us. Paola at the desk was everywhere in the hotel making drinks for us and tending to everyone. They were terrific and the owners are lucky to have them all as employees.
