Das Hotel ist in einer alten Klosteranlage. Unser Teil war schon in die Jahre gekommen aber beim Rumlaufen haben wir gesehen dass es noch andere Teile gibt die besser aussehen. Man kann in der ganzen Klosteranlage rumlaufen das ist richtig toll. Zimmer schön und groß die ganze Anlage ist ein Traum. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück war gut.

Frühstücksdame war manchmal etwas überfordert bzgl. eindecken der Tische. Im Flur vor unserem Zimmer (in die Jahre gekommen) hat es manchmal etwas gemüffelt.

Lieu majestueux, jardins magnifiques, parking protégé au tarif abordable. L'accueil est sympathique, que ce soit à l'arrivée comme au départ. Le petit déjeuner dans le magnifique refectoire des chanoines, donnant sur les jardins. Très calme.

Les chambres ne sont pas climatisées. Il faisait ce jour 38°C à l'ombre et la chambre au RDC était chaude tout en restant d'une température acceptable pour dormir grâce au ventilateur. Le vue donne sur un mur, mais c'est un avantage par un temps de canicule, car le soleil ne donne pas directement dans la chambre.

Mooi historisch gebouw.

Kamer zonder airco waardoor het zeer oncomfortabel warm was. Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt.

Nette Lage mit interessanter Umgebung, Ausstellungen, schöner Garten.

Frühstück mäßig

Fascinating building in a small town on the mighty Moselle: hotel rooms in (presumably) former clerics’ accommodation, lovely cloister garden, and a now-deconsecrated church used for performance (which has a super acoustic echo). The room was clean and comfortable with a kettle and a handy kitchenette & fridge, which are unusual in French hotels. But bring your own plates & cutlery if you want to prepare/eat your own food. Staff were pleasantly welcoming.

There is still something a little monastic about the feel of the rooms. Comfortable but modest. We stayed during the June 2026 heatwave, when the absence of air conditioning was very obvious. But a powerful fan was provided in the room, and the high ceilings of the 18th century building helped.
