Room floors had lots of hairs on floor

My husband and I feel we must share our experience with Bluegreen Vacations. We bought into the Bluegreen points package after a presentation that promised great vacations. We attended a 90-minute meeting at Christmas Mountain, which lasted four hours instead. We were tired, hungry, and felt pressure to sign the papers, even after we said no. The promises made by the sales team simply are not true. Booking is impossible. We were told we could go anywhere we wanted, whenever we wanted. That is a lie. To book any nice resort, you must plan six months or more ahead. We often settle for the same close location, Wisconsin Dells, because we cannot find availability anywhere else. We lose points. We lose our points every year because we cannot book on time. We lost 20,000 points just last year. They also charge an extra $50 to save points to the next year. The fees grow fast. They told us about an annual fee, but they did not tell us it would keep growing. Our maintenance fees are almost $3,000 this year. They grow $500 or more each year. This extra expense became a nightmare. We feel cheated. We were tricked into getting a Bluegreen credit card. They said we would get money back to pay our fees, but it was only $100 to $200 all year. We also learned they give non-members the time and space to book, taking exclusive rights away from paying owners. We bought this timeshare for our family, but our children are grown and travel on their own. They do not want to inherit this huge cost. We simply cannot afford this huge expense anymore, and the timeshare is now useless to us. We tried to contact Bluegreen to address these issues and cancel our ownership. They will not respond or work with us. We feel trapped in this contract. Think hard before you buy Bluegreen. We warn you this timeshare will cost you a lot more than you expect and give you much less.

Great location, clean, big room, and price

I did not have a time share for this trip but our friends who we traveled with did. Staff for time share portion were all very rude and a major turn off for returning to this location. Regular staff were mediocre at best.

La ubicación era muy correcta. Nosotros éramos 4 adultos y se nos hizó "pequeño" el alojamiento. La habitación estaba bien, pero salón/cocina era pequeño. Para abrir el sofá cama teníamos que poner la mesa del salón en vertical y esconderla para tener sitio.
