"Good, clean, safe space...colorful :-)"

10.0

Not exactly a walking neighborhood at night, but no problem if driving. Lovely clean place to stay, good restaurant...sufficient. There are great places to eat minutes away, so not an issue.

"Great!"

8.0

I was attending an event at La Morante Art Bar so the location was ideal for me. They had good secure parking and I was able to walk where I needed. They also have a lovely pool. All in all, it was a great place to stay, especially for the price.

"Warm Traditional Mexican Hospitality"

8.0

This simple Hacienda lacks the glamour and glitz of many of the fancier hotels in the area, but it MORE than makes up for it with kind, warm-hearted traditional Mexican hospitality and is situated to offer an authentic view of La Paz. The staff of Hacienda Bugambilias couldn't have been any kinder and more welcoming to our family during our winter holiday stay with them. They treated us and our young daughter like members of their family and made sure that we had everything we needed for comfortable and relaxing stay. The hacienda is situated in a great neighborhood with kind neighbors and many great local smaller hidden dining establishments offering breakfasts and lunches with locals and not too far out of the way that we were able to walk or take short local bus rides nearly everywhere we needed to go. The hacienda is simple, but has all standard needs in one place, including simple rooms, a pool and a restaurant on premises. We're very happy we decided to stay with them and look forward to visiting again.

"Excellent"

Very sweet hotel near everything. The staff, from janitors, maids to front desk, are the happiest group of workers I have seen. They are all so pleasant. I will definitely return.

"Hotel with Character"

8.0

We needed a one night stay and a place that accepted pets. This is not the Marriott, but the price is very reasonable for what you get. Service is very nice. If your expectations are right, you won't be disappointed. This is a very nice hotel, with pretty plants, furniture and wall paintings in the common areas. Decor in the room is a bit dated, but the flat screen TV, AC and overhead fan were all in good working order. You can woalk to everything in downtown. We'd go back.

"Very nice staff, very safe and not too far from everything"

6.0

I call this a budget 2-star hotel. But, it's a very safe property with very smiley, friendly staff. My one complaint is that one of the beds should have been retired 10 guests before us. And, the towels were really old and worn.

"Inexpensive clean & roomy hotel. In central area."

8.0

We stayed at this hotel which is close to the malecon (boardwalk) by the Cortez Sea. The hotel is well maintained with spacious, clean rooms. Plenty of parking and nice, clean pool. The only con is that they didn't have a fridge in the room.

"budget stay"

8.0

Mexican feel with french cafe murals painted around the pool and dining area. Comfortable rooms, full wifi, mexican satellite tv in the room, possible to find american shows dubbed with spanish subtitles. Lots of parking and only 3 blocks from the malecon. I have stayed there a few times and will visit again.

"Good for a one night stay"

6.0

This hotel is not close to the center of La Paz known as El Malecon. Unless you're an avid walker, I suggest you rent a car while in La Paz. The young lady who checked us in seemed very depressed and aloof; however, other staff were attentive. It's a nice hotel to stay at for ONE night only. We drove-in from Cabo San Lucas to spend the day at Espíritu Santo Island (Highly recommend you visit this Island) and wanted a hotel reasonably priced for one night. This hotel will do IF you're not too picky about customer service and don't mind out dated rooms. The A/C works well and the beds are comfortable. Bring your own soap and shampoo, as their toiletries aren't that good. I hope this helps you make your decision. Be well and enjoy LaPaz!

"Convenient, quiet, inconspicuous"

10.0

We stayed here both going to and coming from Los Cabos. (It was such a good experience on the way down, we stayed here again on the way back.) I loved the location -- quiet but within walking distance of the malecon and plaza, and we DID enjoy walking in La Paz. My husband and I appreciated the spaciousness -- the lobby, the courtyard, the room itself, the bathroom, the shower. The pool, in the central courtyard, was inviting; we both swam. In the evening, same central courtyard was pleasant for just sitting in the rocking chairs outside our room. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't do the exchange in my head well at check-in; when we received our credit card statement, it was a delightful surprise that our room cost $43 per night.
