Riverside Meadows Cabins

After years of reservations on Booking, Riverside Meadows Cabins has reset the bar for the gold standard. The location is unbeatable and the owners incredibly accommodating. My partner and I discovered this place by pure luck in an effort to escape the heat of eastern Utah. The reviews don’t do this place justice, and for good reason: loose lips sink ships! Seriously, I feel like we stumbled upon one of the best small businesses in all of Colorado. Literal footsteps from the Rio Grande, the rooms are immaculate and well provisioned. Quiet and comfortable, my partner and I are already looking forward to our next stay with Fritz and his family. And speaking of Fritz, I would be remiss if I didn’t single him out for being such a great host. After my girlfriend and I arrived, Fritz and his family took off to attend a music festival in neighboring Del Norte. Not a half hour later I locked the room keys to our room inside the cabin. And when I called Fritz, not only did he answer, he walked us through finding a hide-a-key completely saving the day. So many superlatives to say about this place, but between the surroundings, the immaculately clean rooms, the wonderful owners and their resident border collie, Kobi, this place is the definition of five stars!

Absolutely not a thing!

The owners put a lot of stock in creating an environment to relax and it felt like we were stepping into another world for a time. The cabins were just yards from the river and so tastefully decorated. They have flowers staged everywhere. We would love to come back someday.

I personally don’t like to wake up when the sun comes up so I usually like to have curtains on the windows as an option. I can understand why the owners would like to keep that to a minimum because it would take away from the beauty of the inside of the cabin.

What a wonderful place! Location and amenities very nice. Clean-comfortable-quiet. Only wish we had stayed longer-good vibe and peace.

We loved this hidden gem! Hospitality was top notch, clean, attention to details, lovely flowers and beautiful setting!! Fishing would be a thrill here, Rio Grande was high from rain, so no fishing this time. We will have to come back!!! Enjoyed every moment!

A wonderful stay right on the river in South Fork. Spotlessly clean, peaceful and comfortable. Riverside Meadows makes a great base for enjoying all the activities od the South Fork area. We are looking forward to returning soon!
