Cape Town Beachfront Apartments at Leisure Bay

The view is spectacular,right on the ocean,centrally located& close to all amenities. Blanket the security lady was efficient and friendly.the negatives of the booking was when you got there you had to pay for wifi,parking & housekeeping.if you did not pay the deposit online they didn’t take credit card deposit at the hotel so you had to pay cash.booking was for 9 days and all you got was 6 sachets of coffee and sugars for your stay so bring your own coffee milk and sugars and dish cloth. We had to wash our own towels and buy our own garbage bags and toilet paper for longer than 2 day stays.staff and housekeepers weren’t friendly except Blanket.when we checked out housekeeping brought a towel to the office showing black marks on it if they couldn’t get it out you would pay for it.the towels were paper thin from the continuous washing. Received my deposit back before leaving. Should add all extra costs into booking instead of charging separately. Would not recommend. Parking is very tight if you have a larger vehicle.

Advertised as sea view apartment but you can barely see the ocean The room was close to the pool, it was noisy with no privacy The amount of time it takes to refund deposit is just too long The rooms are old with outdated finishes No free Wi-Fi

The staff were amazing but that was about it. I think it's better to go December/January otherwise it's boring. You have to pay extra for wifi, toiletries, and housekeeping, which I think is weird. Some fixtures could do with a revamp. Maybe add extra amenities like a jacuzzi and bigger pools/volleyball on the beach.

The photos were a bit deceiving. I expected more of a sea view than the pool view that we got. The air-conditioning was very loud and didn't provide any sort of coolness or air at all. The couch was sunken in and was not comfortable to sit on. There was also no privacy at all. With the room being right in front of the pool, other guests were constantly walking past or relaxing by the pool in front of the unit. I loved the fact that we could just walk down to the beach though. That was stunning.

Check-in is at 15:00 but room was not ready till 16:00.

There 2 communal pools are clean and leaving and entering the complex is easy. The place is nice

The house keepers are dishonest, probably careless too. I left my spectacles on the bed as I had not requested housekeeping, and when I came back, housekeeping was done, the bed was done but my glasses had disappeared. I spoke to the receptionist all they could do was say sorry to me losing my personal items, the other receptionist said he’s just a receptionist there’s nothing he can do. The lady who did housekeeping didn’t even wanna hear it, she just walked away while I was still talking to her. I appreciate the security guard and the guy who sorts the recycling because they’re the only ones who were willing to help me. Upon checking out, they wanted to charge us for a stain we found on the sheet when we checked in. They claimed that it’s a permanent stain and wanted to charge us, but after I rubbed on it a few times with water it got removed.
