A good and comfortable place to stay

Would have liked some biscuits on the tea tray.

As a family of 16, including grandparents, uncles, grandchildren, etc our 2 day stay was superb. The staff were friendly, helpful and always on hand. The breakfast was of a perfect size, freshly cooked and well laid out. Our dinner was just fantastic. The quality of "pub food" is excellent. Good portion sizes too. The pool table and dart board were a bonus. The bedrooms, located across the car park (free parking) were basic but comfy and more spacious than expected. The beautiful country walks just round the corner to the estuary was an extra bonus.

The squeaky bed but as with the basic nature of the room. This however was not a dislike, but something to add for those looking for more than the rating of the accommodation.

Clean and tidy. Plenty of parking.

Excellent breakfast, good shower, bed etc. Nice & quiet for a good night.

We booked our stay at the Woolpack inn 6th August 2025 and paid £95.00 to booking.com, for our stay on the 7th May 2026. We had received a confirmation from the Woolpack Inn at the same time. When we arrived at the Woolpack on the 7th August 2026 we were required to pay another £95.00 pounds, when we question this to say we had already paid they said we hadn’t, so we paid by credit card, now we have found our original booking and payment we contacted them to refund the payment of £ 95.00, but we have not heard anything to clear this mess.

Perfect location for Goodwood . All the meals were excellent , and the staff were very friendly.

For " larger" people the bed was too small and soft .
