Almond Business Hotel

Every time I come to Nicosia, I stay at this hotel. A nice, convenient location, very spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast has not a lot of varieties but good choices from eggs to cheese and jams, fit to a fast and fulfilling breakfast. Highly recommended place for a business trip.

It is impossible to rate this hotel highly enough. We spent a week there and we could not find anything that was less than excellent - the size of the lounge, bedroom and the bathroom, the comfort of the bed and the sofas, the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, the equipment in the kitchenette and in the rooms - it was all perfect. We needed WIFI (for work) and each room has its own router with superfast connection speeds. We needed a safe and the safe is big enough to put a Surface Pro 4, camera and documents in. We needed free parking and there was lots of that. We wanted a balcony to sit out on at the end of the day and there was one. (We didn't need a TV but it looked impressive anyway!) And the very effective aircon unit has to be the quietest I have ever encountered in any hotel. There was a good supply of toiletries and the room was meticulously cleaned each day. The breakfast was very good with a huge variety of hot and cold food and the presence of a kitchenette meant you could eat in your room if you wanted. The staff were really friendly the manger available and approachable. To top the lot it wasn't expensive! If it sounds too good to be true, it certainly isn't! We spent ages trying to find something to criticise and failed. Next time I need a hotel in Nicosia this will be my first choice.

Highly recommended. Breakfast needs to be managed well like clean tables immediately to make room for other guests and also not leave food trays empty.

Excellent hotel set in a quiet business/residential area of Nicosia. The staff were extremely helpful with my requests and we're very polite. I would happily stay there again. If you want to have the sun on the balcony in the afternoon, choose a room that ends in 02 or 03. Rooms that end in 01 or 04 probably get the morning sun only. I was in 703 and got the sunset view from my bedroom window (small window with shutters though).

We visited Nicosia and the Almond Business suites hotel on a business trip for one night. The hotel was selected due to its location, which was only 5 minutes walk from where our appointment was taking place. Upon our arrival at around 13:00, the clerk was very helpful and he checked us in immediately. The rooms are basically suites/small apartments with two rooms each and are very spacious (60m2 or 646 sq.ft). They have a large space divided with an area with a dinning table and the other half with two sofas, a table and a flat screen TV. The other room of the suite, was the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom/shower. The bedroom is again a very spacious room with a closet and safe. There is also a "hidden in a closet" kitchenette in the dinning area fully equipped with oven, hob, a small fridge, microwave oven, tea pot and a sink). There are air condition units in both rooms of the suite, since it is quite warm in Nicosia in June/July. In the morning there is also a breakfast area with a nice an abundant selection! As far as the location is concerned, as I mentioned it was picked because it was convenient for us and our meeting place, but it is also very close to the "old city" of Nicosia (about 10 minutes walk), where there are a lot of places to visit for sight seeing in a vehicle exclusion zone and even a street with all the boutiques and restaurants. All in all, a great choice both as a location and as the service and amenities offered.
