Causeway Bay Hotel Sparwood

Great value, close to the highway, would stay here again when visiting the area.

This is a business hotel in a mining town. Very good restaurant, good staff and very clean rooms. I will stay here again.

Our only complaint is the beds were so lumpy ...need tobe replaced.

Easy check in and the room was so clean. The picture in the web seems old because the hotel was in good shape.

The hotel was in a good location and the attached restaurant served some good food. The beds were not very comfortable and like to roll away from the wall making it some what uncomfortable to watch TV.

Fairly clean and comfy place to have night rest. Conveniently located for auto travelers. Friendly staff providing quick and easy check-in/out.

Great value, but a noisy hotel (we could hear full conversations of people in other rooms) - hotel does provide ear plugs. No elevators (vending and ice machines only on 1st floor) and hallways and stairs were dirty, likely due to the many workers who were staying in the hotel (the hotel does try to keep the dirt down with boot cleaners inside and outside of the property).

Location is good. Our room was at the very end of the very dated hallway on the second floor. When we got to our door, it was left open. There was no staff around so we decided to figure it out as we were exhausted from our travels. When we finished opening the very squeaky door, our noses were hit with a very strange odor. On our dresser inside the room was a odor Eliminator contraption. A bucket with some sort of air freshener in it, with a small fan on top plugged in to the wall. It was very odd. Needless to say, the entire experience was awkward and well below average. The only positive, was the price was fairly inexpensive.
