WorldMark Canmore - Banff

Beautiful resort, nestled in the Rockies. Gorgeous mountain views. Hotel is away from the middle of town so it was quiet and peaceful- I’m not sure I’ve ever slept so well in a hotel! Room was clean, kitchen was well-stocked. Biking and hiking trails were right outside the door. We had a fantastic holiday!

A few of the Front desk staff We’re very cold, unsympathetic. We tried very hard To get booked into the pool, with little success. The government has already set enough restrictions and the hotel had to add to that! They should have kept the pool opened longer hours instead of closing early and disappointing little children. We called to make sure the pool was opened before booking. But upset that they closed so early! And they have a sign at the front desk that says that you are not ALLOWED to wait in line, in person, to book a slot. When the pools are allowed to open again, they should take advantage of that and keep the pool opened longer. Nobody will die if they make that small change. Indoor hot tub was barely hot. Other than that, the hotel is nice. not Sheraton Quality. But still very nice

SENT TO THE HOTEL WITH NO REPLY: Upon check-in, the receptionist could not locate my expedia reservation. I showed her my booking confirmation, reservation number and hotel info along with the booking confirmation and receipt, yet she demanded more. I actually had to ask her if she thought I had fabricated my reservation she was so judgmental. I passed her my phone so she could actually review the email, but that was not enough. I had to take a screen shot the reservation than email to her: ana marie. Than she went in the back to "make some phone calls". The entire process likely took over 45 minutes and at 11:44 p.m. with a small child and wife waiting in the truck not knowing what was going on, it was not a pleasant experience at all. That night, we unpacked our bags and loaded up the fridge with approximately $300 worth of groceries (for the next 3 days). We set out for the day, only to return to a HOT fridge and freezer and spoiled food. We reported the incident to reception who sent a service person to fix, but we had to throw away an entire black garbage bag FULL of groceries (which your hotel was so kind to provide). No further compensation was offer aside from 30mn at the pool (Ian by the way is actually a really great employee by the way). Expedia shows free wifi, which we were told upon check in, there was none. So, in summary, that was my families first experience with your hotel.

Perfect vacation! In the mountains - peaceful and so restful!

Great stay overall! The kitchen was full of everything you needed and then some. Pool towels under the sink, more than enough pillows and bedding. House coats would have made it that much better when going to the pool! Pool booking at 9pm for the next day was a bit of a hassle but eventually got through. You can easily hear your upstairs neighbours walking and moving, luckily not talking. We will request the 6th floor next time around. Pool was excellent. I can’t wait to go again once things for back to “normal”. A playground ages 2-5 was walking distance, perfect for our daughter. Overall, a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for two nights; the room was fine and appeared as advertised. It seemed a little unusual for what was a pretty nice resort to not include mini bottles of lotions or conditioner in the bathrooms, none were available even upon request. The beds were pretty stiff, and I was expecting them to be a little better. Seems like the bed you would find in a 2-3 Star hotel. Finally the staff was a little curt at times. We requested a late checkout as it was a Monday (and the hotel was pretty empty) but then we received a call at 11:00am asking us why we hadn't checked out yet. Thought that was unnecessary and a little rude.

King sized bed was very comfortable, pullout bed was one of the worst i have ever slept in. If you are sharing with someone keep this in mind! Secodn niggt i slept on the floor. It was more comfortable. Otherwise, wonderful property, very quiet.

Very good overall. While they had the usual COVID stuff, they weren't tyrannical about it, which was nice. One of the few places with pool and hot-tub open, and they were great about allowing us extra time there when the hotel wasn't busy. Friendly, relaxed staff, very well kept rooms, well-equipped kitchens.
