Wonderful pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Lack of room facilities. No kettle, iton, clothes rack for hanging wet swimming things. For a 4 star this would be expected. Its a fine hotel but dated and the the furntiture at pool needs an update/clean. Ashtrays werent emptied.

The location, beautiful territory, and amazing pool area (however, we didn't use it because of the weather) We had a room with our own entrance and lovely terrace, and we loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful. My sister had her birthday during the stay, and she was given birthday cupcakes with a birthday card at breakfast time; it was super nice!! Thank you for doing that!

Breakfasts are significantly essential for me when staying at the hotel. I was unpleasantly surprised by the quality and low variety of breakfast in Aktea...There was no coffee machine - not a good coffee (tasted like instant coffee) served from a thermos, a few cakes, two kinds of cheese, two types of ham, boiled eggs, and some fruits. When I asked for two scrambled eggs, a waitress gave me a bill for 12 euros...I mean, really?! In a 4-star hotel, scrambled eggs cannot be extra! We stayed for three nights, and we were upset about having that breakfast every morning. The croissants were good, though, but more is needed. Also, the restaurant menu was unattractive, with nothing to choose from, so we ate at the restaurants nearby. I also didn't like that still water (0.5 per person each day as per 4-star hotel service) was not offered. Instead, it costs 2 euro per bottle.

Amazing hotel that is a short walk to downtown. We rented two rooms and both had beautiful outdoor areas and views. The pool area is wonderful and towels are available. There is a small outdoor bar that serves food and drink. Breakfast is plentiful - so much fresh fruit and sweet and savory choices. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

La struttura è in una posizione molto vicina al centro storico e al porto di Lipari. Ha una piscina e dei giardini meravigliosi. Le camere sono arredate in modo semplice ma pulite e silenziose. La chicca di Aktea sono il ristorante assolutamente squisito e il personale, cordiale e gentilissimo. Posso solo consigliare questo hotel a chi desidera rilassarsi nella bellissima isola. Grazie mille!

The location was amazing! The staff and cleanliness was perfect. View and breakfast oh my. We really enjoyed our stay!
