"Nice retreat"

10.0

Though I wrongly assumed this was closer to the coast, it was nice to have a quiet place to go after a day of traffic and crowds. This is a very professionally run bed and breakfast. The room was comfortable as was the bed. Our room was facing the road so we did hear traffic day and night. It wasn't so loud that it kept us from resting but we could hear it. The breakfasts are vegetarian which I wasn't aware of. I found the selections very good and professionally prepared and served. My husband is a picky eater so he didn't eat much. Overall I was impressed with this bed and breakfast. I would most definitely stay here again

"family gathering nearby"

10.0

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this B&B. Holly was a wonderful hostess. Breakfast was a delight each morning with a freshly prepared meal served on fine china and silver. The rooms were lovely--comfortable and well maintained. This 1840 sea captain's home has been pleasantly updated. It's location is perfect for visiting the Cape.

"Cozy, comfort."

8.0

The house was built in the 1800s and has all the charm without the shabbiness. All rooms, both common and private were recently refurbished. The bed was comfortable, the décor was homey without being fussy, and while the private restroom was small, it was spotless. On balmy days, breakfast is served on the patio in the flowered yard at umbrella tables. For inclement weather, there are tables in the double dining room; one table per room. The fireplaced common room offers comfortable seating, and a selection of books, games and DVDs to borrow.

"Relaxation station!"

10.0

I loved my stay!. I came to get away from schedules, and mobile devices! I found a place of comfort in the cozy and QUIET inn. There were obvious upgrades (shower/bath), and nice little extras like ice, 24 hr coffee available, and beach items to use for the day. Thank you Holly for your pleasant conversation, delicious breakfasts and genuine kindness!

"Wonderful historic bed and breakfast"

10.0

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The bed and breakfast hotel looks wonderful and is in a beautiful historic building (171 years old) that has been a bed and breakfast since shortly after the first owner died. The current owner (Holly) was very nice and extremely helpful in providing us with places to visit and things to do. She also makes a very wonderful breakfast. All in all, we had a wonderful experience staying here and would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.
