Rodeway Inn La Grande - Island City

The staff member who I checked in with was friendly and helpful. The property location is a bit away from downtown and the freeway, but is still next to a smaller highway, and occasionally louder vehicle engines were audible from inside the room. It is in a residential neighborhood, though right next to a gas station. I could hear louder sounds and showers in adjacent rooms. Although, there was a full moon on the night of my stay, and there was a beautiful view of it from my room. It was well-cleaned and comfortable.

Loved the 3PM - 11PM Front Desk Clerk. She was happy, smiled and could tell she loved her job. The property was convenient and super clean.

It was a good nights sleep

The convenience of the quiet location, friendly staff and price actually helped us decide to stay an extra two nights. The only draw back was the parking lines in the lot but it all seemed to work out.
