Accidental delight! Comfy beds, spotless room, and a stay in an ancient castle-like historic compound. This place is maintained lovingly by a local association. It has multiple buildings on beautiful grounds, and is a suitable venue for any special event. We were simply looking for a place to land before our narrowboat adventure. What we got was a deep dive into history, staying at a home that once belonged to Lady Jane Grey. The staff was fantastic. We arrived too early for check in, yet the management was so kind, were offered an upgrade for our convenience. What a delightful piece of history we stumbled upon! Highly recommended!
Excellent location and staff highly recommend for couples and families
Staff are so nice snd helpful. Rooms are fabulous and spacious. The toiletries are amazing and high graded. Sure will visit again with family. Highly recommended.
Property was nice however the leisure centre was very dirty. There were no cleaners during the day. We went both morning and afternoon same condition. Also the hot tub was broken for the whole stay.
