Hampton Inn Sayre

I have never been to a Hampton Inn that was as as perfect as this property. I saw the 5 star rating when I booked and I cannot find anything other than positive to report Absolutely Fantastic The area is lucky to have this fabulous property THANK YOU

The most hospitable hotel we've ever stayed at. Couldn't have been more pleasant. I especially wanted to acknowledge both Sue B. and Ashley for helping us with so many various requests we had. They were as friendly as a family member would be. The other staff members were also all so terrific, I unfortunately don't know their names. The food was fantastic too, one of the few places we could eat healthy options such as hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit, etc. They also left the fruit out for guests the rest of the day and throughout the day offered super delicious cookies, teas, coffees, etc. The awesome atmosphere and extra offerings made up for the fact that the rooms with double beds don't have refrigerators. That would be my only suggestion for improvements at this hotel. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone. Although we came just to visit colleges, the fact that everyone was so friendly, thoughtful, and helpful made it feel like a special vacation.

Location, staff, room, plumbing, A/C, all good. Sadly, the day we experienced it (and I hope it was just an off day), the breakfast was quite possibly the most poorly executed of any Hampton at which I’ve stayed for several years. All the hot food was lukewarm at best, there seemed to be several selections of other foods missing, and even the juice machine dispensed not-cold beverages. I know Hampton breakfasts are “generic” across the brand, but the staff still has to execute, and it just didn’t happen this time.

I wish there were a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Free coffee but no dairy free milk alternative.

This hotel is a nice property. The front desk staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice and food was fresh and appropriately warm and cold. We did not have a refrigerator in our room. Not sure if that is the case for all rooms. The brewery just behind the hotel is excellent!
