Complejo Turístico La Garganta

The hotel is in the prime location for some great activities within El chorro. The perfect spot if you are planning to walk the Camino del ray. The rooms are very unique and ours was construction theme which added to the fun experience. All the staff were exceptional and went above and beyond, even helping us when our train was cancelled.

Our room had three levels which meant a lot of walking up thin spiral staircases. Definitely adds to the unique charm but something to be aware of is accessibility is an issue.

L'accueil 🙄 la personne ne comprenait pas ce que je lui disais. Elle commençait à s'agacer. Il a fallu que ce soit moi qui prenne google traduction. Ca ne lui est pas venu à l'idée...il faut monter à une mezzannine pour accéder à la chambre par un escalier en colimaçon ( 50 de large). Assez dangereux pour descendre. La clim ne fonctionnait pas bien assez ancienne. Et une toute petite fenêtre. Etouffant. La piscine bof, 1 avion.qui passe toutes les 5 min. Et la vue sur des poteaux electriques des câbles.Et ne parlons pas du repas du soir. Une catastrophe. Un temps pas possible pour etre servi, une organisation déplorable. Btef 1 nuit pas plus.

The property was so close to the train station it had a lovely charming atmosphere

The restaurant food on an evening was not very warm

Lovely hotel right by the end of the Caminito del Rey so perfect for a stop over with the shuttle buses going from directly opposite. Staff very helpful- even brought food we ordered in advance to our room as our train was delayed and restaurant would have been closed. Breakfast was great as was the food in the restaurant.

We booked the duplex room and the stairs up would be challenging if you aren't very agile.

It was a comfortable room in El Chorro, and central too all the outdoor activities. Restaurant was lovely. Swimming pool was a bonus. Definitely recommend
