"Hotel"

8.0

Good size hotel room but too far from the Akita Station to walk. However the taxi was easy to catch and cost less than 1,000 Yen; if traffic is good, the meter does not even jump and remains at 690 Yen.

"Basic, good hotel"

8.0

Its a relatively new hotel in Akita city in a quiet corner near downtown and 15 minutes walk from the station. Akita Airport Limousine stops at this hotel (40 min.) If you take taxi from JR Station takes around 5 minutes to get there. The rooms: good size keeping in mind the Japanese standars. Comfortable, with good desk to work, good natural light, air purifier, press for trousers, and small refrigerator. Bathrooms good in size (again keep in mind Japanese standars), with all amenities. Views from the room if you are in top floors are nice. Rooms are not smoking. The hotel provides a "set for ladies" that include: shower cap, moisturizer mask, body sponge, mild emanel remover, pad for pedicure, bath powder, even hair amenities ( I don't know if they will keep the same policy when you read this review). There is a kind of "izakaya" (Japanese tavern), where you can eat if you arrive late at night. There is also a nearby Lawson (a very small supermarket with basic things). Breakfast, mainly for Japanese taste. Small buffet that serves scramble egg, bread, sausages, rice, fish, vegetables, coffee, tea, orange juice, etc. Breakfast was included in our rate.

"Not the best location but very Satifsfied."

10.0

For a Japanese hotel, the room was quite big. The staff is very nice and friendly. We asked for an extra pillow and they brought it up immediately. Everything was in working condition. The only negative side is its location, it's a bid far from Akita Train Station (about 15-20 minute walk) but we took a cab. There is a restaurant on the ground floor that serves fresh seafood and sushi at a very reasonable price.
