Apartamento Royal Park Albatros

The bed was comfy!

Meet and greet was a nightmare! The place is like a maze and has no permanent reception. The complex is gated and so cannot access to meet and pick up key, there should have been strict instructions with when and where to meet. The apartment was basic at best, the curtain fell off in the bedroom as it was just balanced on curtain pole. To be fair the apartment was clean, so no issues there, but I would suggest an upgrade to better quality fixtures and fittings would make a difference. The pool area was very nice (when you could find it) but the bar restaurant is very casual and feels like they open when they feel like it with no structure. Location is good and only a short walk to the marina with nice walks, restaurants etc..

The apartment o.n arrival looked okay! On entry, the host reported that the TV was not working it was after messing around but was only in Spanish, and language could not be changed.the bedroom t.v was not connected to the internet so was not working at all. The safe was also not working, which the host knew about but did not care, meaning all valubles had to be carried around all week There were ants which were running around the kitchen and into holes in the bathroom grout. There was a washer but this was also broken. Health and safety there was no resort information in case of fire ect no fire extinguisher in the kitchen and no facility to call for assistance in case of emergency.

Our Host Zurells was exceptional. She met us on arrival and depature. She was very accommodating passing on information and responding to any questions or concerns we had. She quickly responded and took action to install some English channels on TV. The Albatros has changed from a hotel/apartment facility to a condo type facility . There is no reception area open so it is important to ensure you establish contact with one's host. Our apartment had been recently renovated ŵith a new kitchen that included a full sized refridgerator, cook top and microwave. It is open to a comfortable lounge area. There is new flooring throughout the main area and bedroom. It has been repainted throughout. The bathroom has not been updated but was clean and functional, including a new Hoover spin washer.

It is a high step to get into the old style bath for a shower. This was not a problem for us but someone with balance problems, limited mobility may have difficulty. There is a grab for assistance.
