Econo Lodge Long Beach I-405

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! If I could give it no stars I would. My friend and I were taking a girls trip from AZ to the beach for just the weekend so we settled and stayed in a cheap place. It is the definition of cheap! The bed was hard as a rock. The furniture was nice just old. The floor was filthy. We had to wear our shoes. THE WORST PART- I have handicapped plates in my car and the manager told me I couldn’t park in the handicapped space. He said it’s because I didn’t request a handicapped room. they have ONE space and ONE room. Our entire stay I never saw anyone park in that space and they had a space a feet feet away blocked with a cone the whole time. It appeared to be for no reason. So I was forced to park behind the motel and walk up a steep hill when I wanted to come and go. Also they created two invoices for my stay- one was the price I paid for online and the other was the one I paid in cash. They told me not to worry, my cards wouldn’t be charged. I knew it was shady! I was billed two months later! I’m trying to dispute with my bank but I didn’t keep a receipt for two months. Stupid me! Now I’m out $123! DO NOT STAY HERE OF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A DECENT HUMAN BEING! God forbid- don’t be handicapped! And you better like Costco bulk danish for the “continental breakfast”.

Everything seemed ok, room clean and continental food was just ok. Not to mention no bed bugs, one of my biggest fears. My downfall was, being that we got there past 6 o'clock, the morning employee couldnt let us check out till noon. He gave us till 11:30 due to other guest arriving by 3. I didn't think it took 3 hours to clean a room. #reallydude

The room was bigger than expected and very clean. The motel is quiet and the staff keeps the property well-maintained. It's the cleanest parking lot I've ever seen. There is plenty of parking and an ice machine. The front desk staff who checked us in was friendly and helpful. It's a decent place for the rate.

The room was nice. Unfortunately the people above me were up all night playing music and stomping they’re feet all night. Did not get much sleep! The parking lot is tiny, but everything else was okay. Not worth the money though!

The property was very mad at Real and up to date and was laid out in a very cozy way

large enough room not a comfy bed and sink pipe was spraying water all over the floor and all over my feet it was great and hotel didnt care when i told them about it. the next morning i was hungry and there was no free breakfast how they charged me $100 for this terrible experience is a rip off imo

The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor and the parking spaces and the carport were hard to get to/through especially at night and if you have a truck. But the staff were nice and cleanly.

It’s Cool, clean and the staff was nice. Only here for one night but it seems like a quiet area. There is a Jack in The Box on the corner so it’s a short walk for a late night snack.

Booked this room thru expedia, when my daughter and her kids landed at LAX they went straight to the hotel to rest and NO ROOM!!!!! The hotel HAD NO RECORD OF THE RESERVATION EVEN THO WE HAD A CONFIRMATION #. SHE HAD TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL AND ROOM, AS THIS HOTEL WAS SOLD OUT ACCORDING TO THE STAFF. Never Again!!!
