Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita

It was a great stay, in a great property. The service is what really impressed us. The restaurants, the spa, the front desk, the drivers, the housekeepers and even the pool guy that came in to clean our plunge pool every day, were all outstanding. This platinum service is a Four Seasons standard but it was kicked up a notch by the great management of this particular resort and the genuine warmth of the Mauritian staff they have hired. Kudos to all departments. Another thing that was outstanding was the incredible beauty of the resort. The well-designed accommodations and the layout of the resort are surrounded by beautiful gardens that are planted throughout the property. Now there was a negative but it was something the Four Seasons could not control. It was the cyclone that was spawned out near Madagascar and passed south of Mauritius resulting in a bit of rain for a few days. I have checked and we were unlucky, the weather has been beautiful there since we left. Maybe next time we will be luckier with the weather.

The facilities of the hotel are wonderful. The service is perfect. All the people there were very kind with us and with our little kids. The water sport, perfect too. It was one of the best hotels I had ever stayed.

From the minute we arrived the service was tremendous. A dental problem arose and the staff arranged an appointment and taxi within an hour - fantastic. The resort is just beautifully designed, extensive and lovely gardens and lots of birds, the accommodation is outstanding. The restaurants were good and breakfast was superb. There were nice beaches, one with the water activities and also a swimming pool, plus another 'quite beach' which was a picture postcard experience - just beautiful. The only slight problem for us was gaining information on the timing of activities but otherwise we could not fault a thing.

We stayed for 5 days and just got back. Service is stellar from start to finish. They get to know you before you come, so they had all of our needs and much more taken care of. They even put a pregnancy pillow on our bed for my comfort...and now I ordered one for home because I fell in love with it! Everyone knows you by name which is Four Seasons standard it seems, and preferences for food, activities, room type, etc are always taken into consideration. They say no to nothing! Great stay. Must commend many people including Raja, Donnabelle, Pedro, Robisen a man that we met several times at breakfast I think his name started with an An...Anish? Gosh there were so many more. Activities are right on the property so take advantage of them. Food in Bambou was awesome and they customize to whatever you want. Don't miss the free boat ride to Ile de Cerf island. Great stay. Drive from airport to hotel is long so be ready for it.

Beautiful island, beautiful locals, beautiful hotel resulting in an amazing family vacation. No luxury resorts does families like Four Seasons while losing nothing in the quality of a luxury stay. From the airport transfer, to the room set up (including the unrequested extra bed set up for our daughter's doll), the beauty of the resort, the incredible service and by name focus of the staff, to the quality of food and the resort included hotel amenities (bikes, gym, water sports, ala carte brkst/dinner program etc.) It was hard to leave the resort to get out and see the beautiful island. One of the best vacations we have had as a family.

Clientèle is everything. This is the place to avoid if you are concerned about the quality of your neighbours.

We took ocean villa and it was amazing. The views, service, staff, everything. We would definately visit again
