Hotel Les Cigales

Très bon séjour avec personnel très sympa et a l'écoute. Chambres très propres juste un bémol sur l'isolation phonique.

Goed hotel, wel een wat karig ontbijt. Prima om Marseille, de Luberon en de kust te verkennen.

C'est plus des chambres d'hôtes, qu'un hôtel. Personne à la réception, porte fermée à cléf, sonnez pour que les propriétaires arrivent, refermez à nouveau à clef lorsque vous sortez........ C'est une belle maison style bastide provençale, belle terrasse devant et belle piscine à l'arrière de la maison avec bains de soleil, chaises... La chambre est correcte avec une bonne literie. La SDB est fonctionnelle - une lampe au dessus du miroir serait nécessaire ! il n'y a que le plafonnier. Le seul reproche c'est l'acceuil !! très froid, le propriétaire vous explique rapidemment qu'il faut refermer à clefs à chaque fois derrière vous et nous informe des heures de PD et le lieu - comme nous étions de passage, nous étions attendu le lendemain matin au petit-déjeûner par des amis qui habitent Marseille/La Valentine (ceux-ci rentrer de voyage dans la nuit) Donc le lendemain matin, nous n'avons à peine eu droit à un aurevoir !!! Même si nous étions de passage pour une nuit, un peu de courtoisie et un sourire n'aurait pu nuire. De ce fait, nous n'y retournerons plus !

Nous avons apprécié cet hôtel car il est à dimension humaine (7 chambres) toutes décorées différemment mais en conservant le style provençale. Petit déjeuner en self-service mais avec des gâteaux faits maison . Le jardin avec piscine a été bien apprécié. Le fait d'être tenu par le propriétaire est un plus.

Not easy to find, but good access to Marseille and the coast once you know the way. Delicious breakfast and pleasant surroundings.

we didnt want to stay in the centre of the city and this proved to be a wonderful find. once we had a full day sight seeing we had a nice swim in the hotel outdoor pool in the quiet countryside. the owners we so very helpful stayed for 3 nights and if time permited would have stayed longer

Just stay there! you'll need a car to drive to restaurants but the hotel is an Oasis!

This is a charming , small hotel in an unspoilt location. It is ideal if you want the get away from it all, lounge by the pool or to explore the local area. It is a short , sometimes complicated drive from Marseille and other holiday resorts such as Cassis, you have the great joy of returning to a spotlessly clean room and a night of peace interrupted only by the chirrup of cicadas! Breakfast is beautifully presented with a range of drinks, patisserie, breads, meats and cheeses and can be taken in the lovely breakfast room or on the sunny terrace. The owners speak English and Italian and are very friendly and helpful.

Pleasant B&B - not really a hotel. Madam was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were on the small side but adequate. Paid more for a queen bedroom but preferred the standard room with doors opening out to garden & pool. It was expensive compared to English prices for the equivalent as no breakfast was included. A bonus was the small fridge where we kept our own drinks etc. Fine if you want urban surroundings or access to Marseille but not if you want countryside. We didn't realise this place is situated in a suburb of Marseille and very built up. We would have preferred a more rural location and that was not made clear in the description. All we had to go on was looking at Allauch on the map and the photo of the 'hotel'.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in ,made so welcome.The hotel has been thoughtfully designed for comfort and good taste.Lovely pool and garden to relax. Most helpful owner who made us feel at home
