We had a great stay at Hotel Brancamaria. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The breakfast offered a good variety and was a pleasant way to start the day. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. While the room felt a little outdated in terms of décor, it was clean and functional. The hotel also offers private parking, which was convenient.

The main downside is the location. Although it’s only about a 15-minute downhill walk to Cala Gonone town centre and the port, the walk back uphill can be quite tiring, especially after dinner or a long day out. The hotel provides a shuttle service, which is appreciated, but the operating hours could be improved. The first shuttle is at 9:00 am, which is too late if you have an early boat tour departing around 8:00 am. Similarly, the last shuttle is at 7:00 pm, meaning that if you go into town for dinner and don’t want to drive, you’ll need to walk back uphill. Another point worth mentioning is that several services come with additional charges. Parking costs €15 per day, which is understandable, but there are also fees for things like beach towel rental (€3 for the stay) and luggage storage (€3), which can make the stay feel a bit less inclusive.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Hotel Brancamaria! From the moment we arrived, the reception team was amazing and made us feel so welcome. We booked most of our activities directly through the hotel and I highly recommend doing so. A massive shoutout to our skipper, Luka, who took us on an incredible boat tour. He made sure everything was super safe while keeping it incredibly fun, taking us only to the best, most beautiful secluded spots! Also, a special mention to our driver, Mario. He was genuinely the friendliest person we’ve met (apart from the amazing hotel staff, of course!). We absolutely love Mario! If you are visiting Sardinia, definitely stay here. We had the best time!

One small thing that could be improved is the shuttle bus timing to town. I wish it ran a bit later maybe until 9 PM so guests could easily get a shuttle back to the hotel after having dinner in town otherwise it's a 15-20 min trek back to the hotel with a full belly :)

Als Wiederholer können wir nur sagen, alles topp und unverändert wie im letzten Jahr. Service, Frühstück, die Qualität der Speisen, der tolle Pool, die hauseigene Bootstour zu den schönen Stränden am Golf von Orosei, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren wieder mal hellauf begeistert. Lieben Dank an Salvatore aus dem Service und an unseren Bootsguide Luca. Ihr macht einen tollen Job.
