Days Inn by Wyndham Centre

Please check your blanket and make sure everything works, I would hate for anyone to see what I saw I almost wanted to get my money back but we came to far and had alot of reservations for different things that we could not get money back for. So I had to come out the pocket and buy an blanket set just to get some rest awful stay.

We usually try to stay at a higher star motel but couldn't find one in the are so we stayed here. We were pleasantly surprised by how well lit, nice, and clean the property was. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Clean basic room, just what we needed. Quiet. No rooms were ready even after 4pm, but they had an unexpected staffing problem. Glad for a free breakfast even with the remains of covid policy in effect. Internet wouldn't work but cellular was strong.

The room was very worn and had a musty odor. The next morning the coffee pot would not turn on and the TV would not work. My husband went down and asked for another coffee pot. The owner talked to him like he was an idiot and didn't know how to operate the push button coffee pot and said there was not a replacement available.(the re were about 5 cars in the lot) After that he chose not to mention the TV. We packed up and left.

Absolutely shocked! I didn't realize a name brand hotel could possibly be so bad. I'm not sure how they have remained open. The room was dirt cheap ($55), but that was about $54 more than it was worth. Apparently the entire back end of the hotel is "regulars". This large group of people from multiple rooms stayed outside and were VERY loud until at least 1:30 a.m.! So you can forget about sleep! Tried to turn on the HVAC wide open to drown out the noise, but to no avail. I was looking for the pool/hot tub area when the lady asked me what I was looking for. Yes I had called earlier specifically asking if they had a public hot tub and was told yes. This hotel does NOT, but I didn't find that out until after paying for the room. Then the lady proceeds to tell me there are a couple of rooms that have a jacuzzi tub in them. I ask how much more for one of those rooms. She replied $149!! So for a mere $94 MORE, you can get your room with a jacuzzi in it. We opted NOT to rent the upgrade room, deciding on a hot shower. Well that was a miss too! My wife attempted to take a hot shower that evening - NOT hot water! Therefore I waited until the next morning, so that I would have hot water. We ended up getting up at 4:30 a.m. to shower and leave, since it isn't possible to sleep there anyway. Well at 4:30 a.m., once again there was NO hot water! The smell entering the room was almost nauseating. I would point out both good and bad points, but this is the first hotel where I couldn't find a single good attribute. Dirty, wasn't as promised, loud, no hot water, etc....do yourself a favor - and find another hotel or keep driving to the next city.

I have never stayed at any hotel worse than this one. Customer Service is as bad as it can gets. The carbon/alarm went off they told us to disable it ourselves till the next morning. It was just a very pleasant experience from check in to check out.

We stayed here while traveling for a tournament. The room was spacious but dirty. There was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived and hair in the tub. The tub was brown with grime and mildew. I got cleaning supplies and cleaned the tub myself with bleach. I cleaned every surface in the room before we used/touched anything, and it was very dirty. I have traveled to a lot of tournaments over the years, but this was the nastiest place we have stayed. The morning we checked out the maid opened our door at 9:00 AM to clean the room, we asked her to come back after we checked out, and she returned again 30 minutes later. I wouldn't repeat a stay at this location.

Never again, tried to stay close to a job I was sent to, but I had rather drive from Gadsden instead of staying in Centre.

Quiet, mostly clean, only problem we saw was a few floor tiles loose in bathroom and broken toilet seat. We left some food on counter and it was thrown away , our mistake for not putting pizza and wings into refrigerator?

Easy check-in. Couple of minor issues - handled quickly and with great attitude. Quiet stay.
