. It would be better without the outright racist despair. I KNOW how it looks and feels when staff are bigots, I am of mixed race. I have never witnessed that experience in a motel before.

The front desk staff were complete bigots. I am of mixed race, and the caucasian women at the front desk were vile in unkindness by shrewd nastiness. I am a Christian Sanctified, and I felt so unwelcome by them that if I could have canceled at that point, I would have. But I could not or lose my payment.
